The Grand National Quilt Show, on exhibit from May 10 to September 27, features quilts interpreting the theme, Connections by Canadian quilt and fibre artists from coast to coast.
The new exhibit, a partnership with the Grand National Committee and the Joseph Schneider Haus National Historic Site, features a stunning, thought-provoking collection of quilts created by Canadian quilt and fibre artists from coast to coast.
For the 2015 exhibition, it was “Connections” that got the creative juices flowing in quilting studios coast-to-coast. Connecting, linking, bridging, networking have become more important than ever in our global community today but if the entries chosen for this year's show are any indication, Canadian quilters are among the artistic community's finest communicators – grounded, thoughtful, empathetic, sincere.
