THREADWORKS Exhibition opens at Arthur Child Heritage Centre in Gananoque, ON Friday, September 12th...

Threadworks is a special project of the Connections Fibre Artists Group and the Ontario Network of Needleworkers (ONN). The travelling Exhibition showcases exceptional and creative needlework by artists from across Canada. Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) in Fergus, Ontario is proud to host, sponsor and support the inaugural exhibition, and acts as the organizing venue.
Just arriving at the ARTHUR CHILD HERITAGE MUSEUM Gallery located on the waterfront next to the Gananoque Boat Lines and within the collection of lovely shops and the beautiful waterfront boardwalk, the Gallery offers visitors a wonderful variety of Exhibits to enjoy. The Exhibit will be available for viewing until October 31st.
Please plan a visit to this lovely small town just brimming with art, architecture, some great restaurants and close to the scenic Thousand Islands Parkway and many artist studios.

Threadworks is a juried exhibition that is juried every three years and travels across Ontario to many museums and galleries. Of the 170+ pieces of work received this starting year (2013), 60 were chosen for circulation around Ontario for the next three years.
