MARG NOTAR of Waterloo, ON has art quilts in several Ontario Fibre Exhibitions

As summer travels take SAQA Central Canada members traveling across the province, please make time to try to see the following Exhibitions where several members have exciting new work.

She has also been invited to be the featured local artist for the Homer Watson House Gallery’s “Artist’s Talk” on June 1, 2013 (1:00-3:00) when she will be speaking on Creativity and the Art of Breathing Mindfully.

Threadworks is a juried exhibition that is mounted every three years and travels across Ontario to many museums and galleries. This year, the interpretive theme is "Water". SAQA Central Canada members who have work in the exhibition include Janet Rhind, Gunnel Hag, Phillida Hargreaves, Janine Gates, Bethany Garner, Mary Cope, Maggie Vanderweit, Robin Field, Helen Gordon, Dwayne Wanner, Hilary Rice and Hilary Scanlon.
