SAQA Central Canada member, Micaela Fitzsimmons,  invites all members to visit the STRATFORD PERTH MUSEUM between now and April 14th to enjoy the amazing  SAQA Trunk "C" (Canada) Exhibition in a shared exhibit of over 40 small quilts created by SAQA members along with a number of the Startford/Perth area's beautiful Heritage Quilts from the Museum's Collection. Through exploration of the purposes of a sketchbook, this workshop provides an inspirational platform from which to discover your personal style and develop your practice. "TO THE SEA" accepted into OH CANADA Exhibition in Cincinnati for June 2012

SHARON COLLINS, our SAQA Central Canada Co-Rep, has received notification that her beautiful landscape, TO THE SEA, will be part of the OH CANADA 2012 Exhibition at the International Quilt Festival, Cincinnati, Ohio in June 2012. The quilt will be included in the IQF Special Exhibition Series which will travel throughout the year to Long Beach, CA and Houston, TX.

Congratulations to Sharon. Her beautiful quilts have received many accolades and are truly representative of her talent as a landscape artist. Hoping to hear that many more SAQA Central member artists have been accepted into this prestigious exhibition.
