QUEENSTON, ON -Using graphite pencils and charcoal, explore portrait drawing with artist and educator Greta Hildebrand! This workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of portrait drawing - some history, a variety of tonal exercises, and drawing your way toward your own self portrait.
Greta retired 4 years ago from a career in education, and as a curator and fine arts administrator. She has a degree in Fine Arts and a Masters of Education and has established a studio from her home in Fenwick. Greta works as a mixed media artist and creates 2 and 3 dimensional art forms. This workshop will be held at the museum in our new studio space, the Coach House, on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm (approx.). Light refreshments will be provided. The cost of the workshop is $40.00 which includes all required materials.
