SCREEN PRINTING Workshop at Colour VIE Studios with Gunnel Hag to be held at the studio on March 4 and 5, 2017

Hello Fabric Printers!

Have you always wanted to print your own fabrics?
Interested in home decorating, quilting or fashion?
If you want to print your own images on just about any fabric,
the “Guerilla Screen Printing on Fabric” workshop
on March 4 - 5 is for you!

You will learn how to create simple motifs as well as designs
with fine and detailed imagery, which you will use to make
a silk screen. Your silk screen can then be used to print single images
or be repeated over and over to print your own unique yardage.

In this intensive two-day screen printing workshop I will take you
from the basics to photo emulsion screens in a fun and inspiring
weekend. This is your opportunity to create personal printed
statements on fabric that you can use in your textile projects!

Workshop includes Colour Vie pigme, acetates and emulsion
used in class, and one silk screen - yours to take home after
the workshop.  $220

For detailed information about this and other workshops as well as
photographs of fabrics created at the studio please visit:

To reserve your space simply e-mail me at colorvie@istar.ca
or call me at 416- 532-7435 (local calls) or 1-877-425-8379 (toll free)

Looking forward to seeing you at the Colour Vie studio!

Gunnel

SAQA MY CORNER OF THE WORLD - CANADA on exhibit in Stratford, ON in May 2016

Our SAQA My Corner of the World - CANADA Exhibition has just returned to Stratford, ON after the two month long run in Thunder Bay, ON and what a wonderful venue and tremendous welcoming of this beautiful art by the Thunder Bay Community. So many thanks to the THUNDER BAY MUSEUM for their amazing support and encouragement of our artists and SAQA.

The 40 piece exhibition MCOTW-CANADA exhibition is available for travel for the remainder of spring and into mid summer of 2017.

If you have connections with your local Art Gallery community or an area Museum which welcomes textile art or ideas about where the amazing art might travel next, please do contact Micaela Fitzsimmons at micaela@stratfordperthmuseum.ca

We are fingers crossed that the Canadian SAQA MCOTW art show will be traveling overseas as well later this year as final plans and negotiations remain ongoing. So don't miss the chance to have the exhibition in YOUR local Art Gallery or Museum until mid summer 2017!
